Chetna Bedia is an early childhood educator with over 25 years of experience and a B.A. double major in psychology. As a mother of two, she understands that learning begins from conception and that the early years, especially from birth to age two, are critical for laying the foundation for lifelong growth. Recognizing the challenges modern parents face—such as work pressure, nuclear family dynamics, and limited knowledge of early childhood development—Chetna saw the increasing reliance on schools as the sole source of education. This has led to developmental delays, learning disabilities, and other issues in the next generation.
Driven by research in Indian and global early childhood development, Chetna realized the need for structured programs to guide parents in nurturing their children during this crucial phase. Thus, Ghar Ghar Gurukul was born, with the vision of making every home a “gurukul” where learning begins at zero, even from the womb. Her mission is to equip parents—the first teachers—and homes—the first schools—with impactful tools and techniques to nurture children with love, discipline, and a lifelong passion for learning.
Through Ghar Ghar Gurukul, Chetna has supplied over 3,000 preschools across India with customized educational tools, toys, pregnancy kits, and learning materials. She is dedicated to creating an environment where children can learn anytime, anywhere, through engaging and fun-based educational products. Chetna’s work emphasizes that while schooling starts at five, learning begins at zero, and the most critical growth happens long before a child enters a classroom.
